The Northern California Community Loan Fund (NCCLF) provides financing and expertise to strengthen low-income neighborhoods and enable disadvantaged people to build a better future. Lending NCCLF makes loans ranging from $10,000 to $1 million for four types of nonprofit projects: affordable housing, community facilities, human services and economic development. Consulting and Training Our Fiscal Fitness and Facility Fitness programs help community organizations build their financial-management and space-acquisition capacity through consulting, workshops and advice. Grants Community grant programs, the San Francisco/Alameda County Program and the Performing Arts Program, enable nonprofit organizations to put down roots in their communities by acquiring their own program and office facilities. Investing Socially responsible investing opportunities let investors place funds at predetermined interest rates into the loan pool (currently over $26.2 million) which fund qualified development projects. Donations Tax-deductible donations support general operating expenses or the NCCLF loan pool. TOP OF PAGE |
